The most powerful solar storm in the past 21 years has hit the Earth, causing magnetic waves on Earth to spread the northern lights to the south.
Spectacular sightings of light were seen in America, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland.
According to experts, this extremely rare event is happening due to a large sunspot cluster.
Experts observing the sun through the James Webb telescope say that the total spread of the sunspot cluster is several hundred thousand kilometers, that is, it is 15 times the area of the Earth.
The American space research agency NASA had warned that storms on the Sun may have effects on the Earth’s atmosphere.
The ripples caused by solar storms are millions of kilometers across, affecting the planet’s magnetic field which can disrupt communication systems.
